Certified Sports Nutritionist 

The CISSN is a collaborative effort from dozens of research scientists (PhDs) who have both research and practical experience in the field of sports nutrition. There are other certifications in the marketplace; however, none were devised by dozens of scientists who have done the actual research in our field. 

Some athletes want to improve their performance with a quick supplement, but a well-balanced nutrition plan which calculates their needs according to their body size, sport, and goals promote the greatest improvements in performance.

Athletes need to first calculate their energy expenditure and then adjust their macronutrients to their individual needs. After an athlete has regularly accomplished basic nutritional goals then they can be guided by a professional on nutrition timing, periodic action and supplementation.

HOW CAN A SPORTS NUTRITION SESSION HELP YOU?

Sports nutrition education combined with Athletic Training services provides a well-rounded approach to sport performance, health, and wellness. Nutrition counseling sessions help clients set long-lasting goals to improve their health and athletic performance. I encourage clients to improve their performance through food first, they modify with sports specific supplementation based on evidence-based research and WADA safety recommendations.
