Kari Getschow graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training in 2011. As a Licensed Athletic Trainer, Kari provides clinical injury evaluations and diagnosis, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and manual therapy treatments at Elevate Athletic Training. On the weekends, you will often find her teaching clinics in the community.
In 2020, Kari became a Strength and Conditioning Specialist to expand her skill set. She trains a wide range of athletes from youth to weekend warriors. Her passion is endurance sports training to help clients safely challenge themselves as they become healthier and reach higher levels of competition. As an Athletic Trainer and CSCS, she works with clients with a variety of pain during athletics and daily activity to achieve pain-free exercises to improve their overall health.
Kari graduated in 2022 from Concordia University. She received her Master's degree in Applied Exercise Science-Sports Nutrition. In 2022, she passed the Certified Sports Nutritionist exam through the Certified International Society of Sports Nutrition. Nutrition counseling sessions help clients set long-lasting goals to improve their health and athletic performance. Kari encourages clients to celebrate food, as she educates them on proper nutrition to fuel for activities of daily living and sport.
